Complete Guide to Everest Base Camp Trek
The Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the most iconic trekking adventures in the world. Located in the heart of Nepal’s Khumbu region, this journey takes you through breathtaking Himalayan landscapes, vibrant Sherpa villages, and spiritual monasteries, ultimately leading to the foot of Mount Everest (8,848.86m). At an altitude of 5,364 meters, reaching Everest Base Camp is a once-in-a-lifetime achievement that leaves trekkers inspired and humbled by the grandeur of the world’s tallest peak. Along the way, you’ll cross suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River, walk through rhododendron forests, acclimatize in Sherpa hubs like Namche Bazaar, and enjoy a hike to Kala Patthar (5,545m) — one of the best vantage points for panoramic Everest views.
